TLE 100-3® – Smart Tank Robot is a hands-on robotics and coding course by The Little Engineer® that introduces learners to Arduino programming, electronics, sensors, motor control, wireless communication, and autonomous robotic behavior.
Learners assemble a robust tracked tank robot and progressively program it to interact with its environment. The robot can avoid obstacles, follow objects and light, respond to remote commands, communicate through Bluetooth, and even display facial expressions.

Multiple Ways to Control the Robot
TLE 100-3® allows learners to experience different levels of robotic control.
They begin with programmed movement and can explore IR remote control and Bluetooth App control, before progressing toward sensor-based autonomous behaviors such as obstacle avoidance, following, light following, and ultrasonic following.
The progression becomes:
Manual Control → Wireless Control → Sensor-Based Control → Autonomous Behavior
A Robot That Can Express Itself
A distinctive feature of the Smart Tank is its 8×16 LED display, which gives learners an opportunity to combine robotics with creative programming by displaying different expressions on the front of the robot.
