TLE 101

TLE 101

Build. Explore. Discover How Things Work.

TLE 101® is a hands-on construction and engineering course by The Little Engineer®, designed to introduce young learners to the fundamentals of building, mechanics, and engineering through practical exploration.

Using construction components, students learn how to transform ideas into working models while discovering how structures and simple mechanisms work in the real world.

Throughout the course, learners build, test, observe, modify, and improve their creations. Each activity encourages curiosity and gives children the freedom to explore engineering concepts through hands-on learning.

What Will Your Child Learn?

Through engaging construction activities, learners explore:

Basic engineering and construction concepts
Structures and stability
Simple machines and mechanisms
Gears, wheels, axles, and movement
How different components work together
Following technical building instructions
Problem-solving and logical thinking
Creativity and design skills
Fine motor skills and spatial awareness
From Pieces to Possibilities

TLE 101® is about much more than assembling parts. Children begin to understand why things work, how individual components connect to create a functional model, and how engineering is present in the world around them.

There is no coding or programming required. The focus is entirely on construction, mechanics, exploration, and engineering thinking, making TLE 101® an ideal starting point for young learners beginning their STEM journey.

TLE 101® is part of the TLE Academy learning pathway by The Little Engineer® — where

young minds learn by building, exploring, and creating.
