TLE 04® – Amusement Park Robotics & Coding
A hands-on STEM course where learners explore the engineering and technology behind amusement parks by building models inspired by real-life rides and attractions. Students begin with mechanical construction, then progress to motorized models and programmable robotics, using a controller that can be coded with Scratch or Python.
Learners build attractions such as the Swing, Ferris Wheel, Splash Over, Carousel, Crane, Frisbee, Pirate Ship, Chair-O-Plane, Bumper Car, and Train. They then program a robot to navigate an amusement-park map, interact with the different projects, and complete robotics missions.
Coding Platforms: Scratch • Python
Focus: Robotics • Coding • Mechanical Engineering • Amusement Park Design • Programming • Mission-Based Learning
Learning Journey: Build → Understand the Mechanism → Motorize → Code → Test → Complete the Mission
Learning Style: Hands-On • Project-Based • Challenge-Based • Real-World Engineering
The course consists first of small models(non-motorized) seen usually in play grounds and ten motorized models(with programming).
Each model simulates a game that is part of a real life amusement park.
The models are:
Swing
Ferris wheel
Splash Over
Carousel
Crane
Frisbby
Pirate Ship
Chair-O-Plane
Bumped Car
Train
